Ahwahnee
A deputy was dispatched to a residence for a reported dog bite. Upon contact with the victim, a report was generated and photographs were taken. The case was forwarded to Madera County Animal Control.
Bass Lake
A deputy was dispatched to contact a victim via telephone regarding a burglary to a cabin in Bass Lake. Upon contact with the victim, a report was generated. The victim advised that the burglary happened between September 2007 and April of 2008.
Coarsegold
A deputy responded to a Coarsegold area residence for a report of some type of disturbance. A criminal case file was taken and forwarded to the Madera County District Attorney's Office. A Coarsegold resident reported that the home was entered through the dog door, with prescription drugs and jewelry stolen.
Stolen property was recovered the same day as a residential burglary report was made.
Non-physical domestic disturbance took place. One party was later arrested for DUI.
Mountain Area
A report was taken for the passing of a counterfeit bill.
Deputy took a telephone report of annoying or harassing phone calls. A criminal case file was taken.
A deputy took a report of a lost wallet.
A deputy was dispatched to a report of a burglary in progress. Suspects were arrested and a report was written.
Deputies assigned to the Coarsegold Rodeo event broke up an in-progress fight between two subjects. One subject was taken into custody for being drunk in public and resisting or obstructing a peace officer. The subject was placed in the back of a patrol car and broke out the window. The subject was also arrested for vandalism. The subject was transported and booked in the Madera County Jail.
Oakhurst
A deputy conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. The occupant of the vehicle was on probation and was open to search and seizure. A K-9 search of the vehicle was conducted and search of the person. A small amount of marijuana was found, and the driver was cited.
A deputy was called to a residence for a domestic incident. A report was taken.
Vehicle check in Oakhurst led to the arrest of a Bass Lake man for sales of marijuana. Suspect was booked.
A deputy was dispatched to a home for a reported neighbor that trespassed and chased some juveniles on off-highway vehicles. Upon contact with the victims, a report was generated.
