Two Mountain Area residents face theft charges after deputies responded to a burglary in progress on Road 600 in Raymond Friday night, according to reports from the Madera County Sheriff's Department.
Sean Driscoll of Coarsegold, 31, and Chad Petros of Oakhurst, 23, were taken into custody and booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections.
Bail amount was set at $10,000 for each suspect, which they posted Saturday. Driscoll is set to appear in court May 19, while Petros is set to appear May 20.
Reports indicate that Driscoll and Petros entered private property without permission and prepared to leave with a truck full of metal.
