Benjamin Mecchi of Ahwahnee and Melissa McCann of Raymond were married at Ahwahnee Chapel March 15, 2008.

The groom is the son of David and Caroleen Mecchi of Ahwahnee. He is a 2006 graduate of Mariposa High School and works at Madera Custom Tile and Granite. He leaves in May for training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. His best man was Nick Ricker of Oakhurst.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Naomi McCann of Raymond. She is a 2007 graduate of Yosemite High School and is a concierge at Tenaya Lodge. Her attendant was Mellany Silva of Oakhurst.
