Rumors' golf tourney, May 10

The Rumors' 13th annual/fourth benefit memorial golf tournament will be held on Saturday, May 10 at the Sierra Meadows Country Club.

The day's festivities begin with a tailgate party at noon and a 2 p.m. tee time for the nine-hole event.

The golfers will receive gift bags filled with items donated by local businesses.

The day concludes with a barbecue dinner at 4:30, where more gifts will be raffled off .

The tournament, sponsored by Deanna Thomas of Rumors Studio, honors Gary Bradley and Suzie Valdez, who died from cancer in 2004. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.
