    The Minarets Mustangs softball team (6-6), behind the two-hit pitching performance of Bailee Avina, beat Hoover High (2-11) 10-2 last week. The only runs scored by Hoover came from Mustang errors.

    In its first meet of the season, the The Yosemite High track team looked strong in the small division at the Clovis East Carnival last week. Overall, the Badgers came away with eight wins (five boy’s and three girls) in the 10-team event.

    After getting out to a hot start to the season the Yosemite High Badgers baseball team (4-3, 0-1) hit a road bump losing their first league game in a heartbreaking 7-6 loss against the Liberty Hawks (2-8, 1-0) on Friday, March 13.
